‘Security Platform evolution /SV CC’ was granted by ISO/IEC15408 EAL3
of the international security standard.
‘Security Platform evolution /SV CC’ – the information leakage prevention software that Humming Heads develops and delivers – has been certified EAL3*2 conformance according to the IT Security Evaluation and Certification Program based on CC*3 (ISO/IEC15408) of the international security standard. Humming Heads is Japan’s first and only company that has acquired the certification for integrated information leakage prevention software.
For the purpose of preventing information leakage from PC or file servers to the third party other than intended recipients when the users use data for businesses, Humming Heads has acquired certification first in Japan for the product that covers the total security by using external media, such as mails, Web, or USB memories, against information leakage. From the security viewpoint, EAL3, the highest level of certification, is granted in a range where the disclosure of source codes is not required at the level of commercial use.

The Certified product has the following security functions.
- Write control function
A function that restricts application programs that end users can use in taking files out.
- SV encryption function
A function that automatically encrypts taken-out files and decrypts brought-back files. It also restricts files from being
uploaded via HTTP protocols on the Internet and the data in files from being pasted into Web pages and e-mailers.
- Self-propelled encryption function
A function that encrypts files in an executable file format that allows self decryption in an environment where the TOE
is not installed.
- Storage encryption function
A function that encrypts a whole hard-disk.
- Audit function
A function that outputs logs on the files operated and enables checking by administrators.
- Administrative function
A function that collectively controls setting of the security functions.
